Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Huntersville, North Carolina. This role involves managing various financial and accounting processes, focusing primarily on customer billing and data integrity. The Staff Accountant will be expected to provide timely and accurate information to both internal and external customers, adhering to the specific company and billing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process all aspects of customer billing efficiently and accurately
• Maintain data integrity and execute sales orders
• Assist with office-related tasks and support the objectives of the business unit
• Complete daily account maintenance and billing reconciliations
• Process customer refunds as needed and maintain accurate customer credit records
• Keep up-to-date accounting logs
• Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, Intacct to perform tasks
• Work collaboratively with the team and assist with special assignments
• Communicate effectively, both written and orally, with internal and external customers
• Demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated ability in Bank Reconciliations
• Experience with General Ledger management
• Expertise in Journal Entries
• Proficiency in Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge and experience with Intacct software
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
