Family Office Accountant, Real Estate Investment

Salary: $90-120k (Stretch) + Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Controller with accounting and financial reporting tasks for the Family Office and Investment Funds.
• Maintain general ledgers and accounting entries for the family's portfolio of properties and investments.
• Manage the alternative investment portfolio and bill payments, monitor bank account balances.
• Review monthly bank/brokerage statements and manage tax documents.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end tax work papers and schedules for the external tax team.

Qualifications:

• A four-year accounting degree or similar educational background.
• At least 4 years of accounting/operations experience.
• Experience in accounts payable and general ledger accounting functions.
• Advanced proficiency with Google and Apple products, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and other online communication and PM tools.
• Knowledge of Yardi Voyager and QuickBooks accounting software is preferred.
