Our client is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their dynamic team. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. A CPA certification is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all financial operations, driving strategic financial decisions in alignment with company policies, regulatory standards, and accounting principles.
Design, implement, and manage robust financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, safeguarding the company’s integrity.
Lead the preparation and presentation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements, ensuring clarity and transparency.
Spearhead the budgeting process, providing oversight and guidance on departmental budgets to optimize resource allocation.
Oversee the company’s capital structure, determine financing strategies, and manage treasury functions effectively.
Work closely with fellow C-level executives to contribute to the overall strategic direction and growth of the company.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, a master's degree or CPA is preferred.
Must have proven experience in a CFO or similar leadership role within a finance department
Proficiency in the use of 3M and other relevant accounting software systems
Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a requirement
Should demonstrate a deep understanding of CapEx
Proficiency in accounting functions including auditing, budget processes, and capital management
Must have a strong background in cash flow analysis
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Experience in using CRM for client management is necessary
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Must have a strong ethical code and respect confidentiality
