Clinical Supervisor- Hamilton Ohio

The Clinical Supervisor is integrated within multidisciplinary teams with the responsibility for oversight for the implementation of services provided to clients with mental health and often times a coexisting substance abuse disorder. This position provides support and direction for the services delivered by the Behavioral Health team, which is consistent with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Joint Commission, and the American Psychiatric Association management standard in evaluation, assessment, treatment, and service delivery to clients.
Schedule: Weekdays, No weekends or Holidays
MUST be available for 1 late night until 7pm 1 time per week- Sign On Bonus of $5000 Dollars-
Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical supervision for Behavioral Health clinicians.
- Facilitates the care for clients with mild to severe mental health disorders by directing clinical operations.
- Builds relationships within the Butler County community
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the treatment teams, weekly team meetings, direct clinical supervision of the clinical staff, and provision of on-site crisis assessment and management when needed
- Ensure proper documentation of case files in accordance with accrediting bodies
- Support and ensure enforcement policies and procedures of the organization.
- Review and approve diagnostic assessments to ensure diagnoses are in compliance with the DSM-5/ ICD-10.
- Work cooperatively with other agency programming and management to best meet client needs.
- Participate in staff recruitment, hiring, training, and competency evaluations, prepare performance improvement and corrective action plans with direction from Directors and HR.
- Work in conjunction with leadership to ensure clinical services meet appropriate quality standards and that documentation is completed accurately and timely.
- Submit written reports regarding clients, program outcomes and services as needed
- Other duties as assigned and appropriate for the position.
Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree in Social Work or Counseling or equivalentLicenses or other required certifications: LISW, LPCC, IMFT, Psychologist
Experience: Supervisory experience preferred but not required
Specialized knowledge, skills, or abilities:
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Must have excellent computer skills including working in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Electronic Health Record Systems.
- Must have a strong commitment to client’s rights and ability to work on a team.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish rapport and work well with others.
- Must have the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions, and devise appropriate courses of action.
- Must possess the ability to multi-task, shifting back and forth effectively between two or more activities or sources of information.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain active auto insurance.
