We are providing a unique opportunity in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry located in MASON, Ohio, United States. The role we are seeking to fill is for a Sr. Software Engineer. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and focuses on the development and maintenance of software applications, collaboration with various teams, and deployment of applications to the cloud platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications using skills in C#, .NET Core, and Rest API technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze user needs, and propose technical solutions.
  • Work closely with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with responsive UI designs using JavaScript and React.
  • Use LINQ/Entity Framework to interact with databases and perform data operations efficiently.
  • Deploy applications to the Azure cloud platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline software delivery processes.
  • Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance application performance and code quality.
  • Maintain software applications by addressing and fixing issues as they arise.
  • Contribute to achieving long-term strategic goals by focusing on developing reusable software components, patterns, and tooling.
  • Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by the engineering leadership. • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in C# - Sharp, .NET Core, MVC Framework, REST API, and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience in managing all phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong understanding of various software development methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, etc.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and also work independently when required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in software engineering.
