Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Research shareholder-returned mail cases, including first and second notice letters and third-party locator searches, to identify and resolve issues.
- Comply with SEC guidelines and internal procedures when processing RPO restrictions and escheatable accounts.
- Process and verify all returned checks within 24 hours, adhering to Abandoned Property Unit procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of RPO accounts that are potentially subject to escheatment based on state laws and SEC guidelines.
- Analyze and document trends, providing recommendations for improving workflow efficiency and preventing future occurrences.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with internal and external clients via phone and written correspondence, offering clear, accurate information.
- Collaborate with team members in both individual and group settings to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 1-2 years of business experience, preferably in customer service.
- Proficient in PC usage and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time constraints.
- Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research abilities.
- Client focus, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proven time management skills and attention to detail.
