The role will involve a broad range of accounting tasks, and the individual will be instrumental in helping the company's finance department meet critical deadlines.

Responsibilities key responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including management of the general ledger, journal entries, and adjustments.
• Responsible for monthly and year-end closing of the general ledger.
• Review balance sheets and profit and loss accounts for accuracy.
• Assist with the preparation of periodic financial reports.
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and procedures.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and conduct account analysis.
• Support with budgeting and forecasting tasks as required.
• Comply with company, federal, and state financial legal requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
• Proven experience as a staff accountant or similar role.
• Strong technical accounting skills and understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
