Licensed Refrigeration HVAC Technician
JOB PURPOSE
The Licensed RHVAC Technician repairs Refrigeration and HVAC issues throughout retail locations to support operations and minimize product loss.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain Refrigeration and HVAC issues for a group of retail locations
Perform electrical preventive maintenance checks in a timely manner as assigned
Communicate as needed with retail store location personnel to maintain product integrity
Establish excellent customer service through effective and regular communication with store leadership to ensure they are kept informed of all ongoing maintenance activities
Liaise with store leadership to ensure that all planned maintenance activities are communicated effectively
Provide all required job updates on a timely basis through City’s job management portal
Maintain all assets for which you have responsibility to the highest standards
Maintain clean and safe conditions
Assist with trouble shooting problems
Participate in company’s “on call” after hours emergency call program
Complete equipment inventories as assigned
Travel between a group of stores within your area of responsibility
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS /EXPERIENCE:
Journeyman, or Master qualified in Refrigeration/HVAC systems
Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
Ability to understand and follow English instructions
Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
In depth working knowledge of supermarket Refrigeration/HVAC systems
Demonstrate basic computer skills including, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Demonstrate self-motivation and successful experience in previous jobs and responsibilities
Above average troubleshooting skills
Ability to multi-task; work with limited supervision and make sound decisions quickly
