Primary Purpose:
Entry level position within Exelon Supply Business Operations Technical Services that exposes individuals to a wide range of Supply Chain functions. This position is available as a way to broaden an individual's knowledge and background to prepare the individual for future movement into Strategic or Services Sourcing / Supply Operations areas.Rotation of assignments and responsibilities is utilized as a way of ensuring an in depth exposure to Exelon's Supply Chain functions. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Primary Duties:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES- - Assist in coordinating periodic Supply Management Review Meetings, Work directly with leaders in establishing meeting material content, preparation, and distribution (20%)
- Perform assigned activities that ensure ongoing adherence to required employee and supplier compliance activities that support key Exelon initiatives (20%)
- Provide tactical support to senior analysts in performing various economic and strategic analyses to inform key supply operations and strategic sourcing decisions and help drive best in class category management, strategic sourcing, and market intelligence (10%)
- Complete assigned activities in support of ongoing availability and efficient use of Exelon Supply Enterprise Resource Planning and Procure to Pay Systems (10%)
- Assist with task deliverables supporting the implementation of Key Supply initiatives including recommending and assisting in establishing best practices across the enterprise (10%)
- Perform tasks that assist in the execution of planned training and communication across the Supply Organization (30%)
Job Scope:
JOB SCOPE- - Position supporting activities extend into multiple areas of the Exelon Supply Organization (Supply Operations, Strategic and Services Sourcing, Reporting and Analysis, Supply Systems, Performance Metrics, Expense Management, and Inventory Management). Rotation with other Associate Supply Business Operations Specialist positions will provide exposure that prepares individual for movement into other positions within Supply.
- Travel across Exelon sites as business needs dictate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 2 years relevant business experience, or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 1
- 3 years relevant business experience is required.
- Strong analytical, technical, communication and writing skills.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Part-time / Internship / Co-Op experience may count towards the 3-year minimum qualification.
