Controller

This role presents a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the finance industry.

• Consolidate and accumulate financial data for the creation of internal and external financial statements.
• Oversee the functions of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll.
• Manage the closing of income statement and balance sheet at month-end and year-end, perform account reconciliations, and analyze the general ledger.
• Prepare projections of cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash.
• Implement strategies for timely monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure prompt cash collection.
• Present financial reports to the executive committee and partners on a monthly basis.
• Assist in the creation of the annual budget and forecasts, and monitor these on a monthly basis.
• Apply auditing skills and knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS Accounting, Month End Close, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel in daily tasks. • Proven experience in auditing, with a strong understanding of audit principles and regulations
• Proficiency in US GAAP, demonstrating an ability to accurately apply these principles in financial reporting and analysis
• Expertise in IFRS Accounting, with the capability to interpret and apply international financial reporting standards
• Experience in month end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial management and accounting purposes
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
