This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and updating the general ledger to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
• Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable by processing invoices, payments, and collections, monitoring outstanding accounts, and responding to vendor inquiries
• Conducting monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Monitoring and categorizing company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets, and reporting any variances
• Entering accounting data into the accounting software with a high level of accuracy
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including tax filings and audits
• Assisting with various accounting projects and tasks as required by management
• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work part-time hours
