Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Bridgeport, NJ. This role will involve managing the general ledger, handling accounts payable and receivable, and utilizing various accounting software systems. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial records
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Utilize accounting software systems effectively to streamline processes
• Leverage the ADP Financial Services system for financial management
• Use the Computerized Accounting System and Great Plains for efficient accounting operations
• Employ Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis
• Participate in annual budget preparation and management
• Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor the financial health of the company
• Ensure all accounting functions are performed in compliance with industry standards.
• Possession of a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficiency in using Computerized Accounting Systems
• Knowledge of Great Plains software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable
• Experience with Accounts Receivable
• Ability to prepare and manage an Annual Budget
• Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis
