Location: Quincy, MA (Hybrid)

Summary:

The Enterprise Architecture Team is seeking a Cloud Architect to support organization-wide initiatives focused on infrastructure, security, and application architecture. This role involves designing, architecting, and planning the cloud modernization and optimization of IT systems and applications across various departments.

Detailed List of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical architecture leadership.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and middleware engineers to define scalable, cost-effective, and standards-based solutions.
• Document technical architecture for infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Design and develop cloud-based infrastructure architecture following industry best practices.
• Build cost-effective, scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Present technical facts and recommendations effectively in both oral and written forms.
• Work with business leadership to align architecture design with business strategy.
• Consult with infrastructure, application, data, and security teams to ensure cohesive architecture design.
• Develop technical frameworks and components for enterprise-wide use.
• Provide after-hours support during migration cutover/releases/issue triage.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in an Enterprise Architect/Cloud Architect role with expertise in business applications, middleware, databases, and security.
• 8-10+ years of IT experience with relevant tools, technologies, and teams.
• Strong understanding of modern enterprise architecture and hands-on experience with enterprise application frameworks.
• Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM.
• Experience with Serverless, microservices, and containerization using ECS/EKS.
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as VPC, subnets, and security groups.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development.
• Familiarity with Oracle Identity Management, IBM DataPower, and Oracle Service Bus.
• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Tomcat, Apache, and Spring-based middleware.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, React, Angular, and jQuery.
• Understanding of Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, IT Security Architecture, and IT Regulatory Compliance.
• Experience in the healthcare field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
