Hours:
- Per Week: 40
- Per Day: 8
- Days Per Week: 5
Schedule Notes:
- Alternating weekends required
- Experience in Carter Skilled Nursing Facility and Long-Term Acute Care Hospital preferred
- Procedure room experience, conscious sedation, and endoscopy experience highly preferred
Duties:
- Provide nursing care in a Medical/Surgical setting
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy
- Administer conscious sedation as needed
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatments
- Document patient care and progress accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
Skills:
- Two years of experience in Medical/Surgical settings
- Experience with IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation
Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (Community College, MBO)
- New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification required
- AHA BLS and AHA ACLS (Queens only)
Certifications & Licenses:
- BLS
- RN License
Languages: English (Speak, Read, Write)
