PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE ATTORNEY JUNIOR TO SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Our client, a leading national AmLaw 200 law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate with 2-6 years of experience in insurance coverage and/or commercial litigation to join their team in either New York or New Jersey(link removed)>
Experience in insurance-related litigation/arbitration, complex business litigation, or commercial matters is a plus.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from an accredited, top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Active bar license in New York or New Jersey
- 2 to 6 years of experience in insurance coverage and/or commercial litigation.
- Experience with insurance-related litigation or arbitration, and complex business or commercial matters is preferred.
- Strong writing skills are required; federal or New York Commercial Division clerkship experience is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-energy environment.
- A commitment to high standards of client service and professional drive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage insurance coverage and commercial litigation cases, including drafting and reviewing legal documents and preparing for trial.
- Provide strategic legal counsel on insurance-related and commercial matters.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective case strategies and ensure exceptional client service.
This role offers the opportunity to work on significant insurance and commercial litigation matters within a dynamic and supportive environment. The firm provides a competitive salary range of $165,000 to $205,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
