Position Overview:

HealthEdge offers a paid co-op program that lasts for 6 months. The program allows students to learn about working in a software company and the different departments that collaborate to make our customers successful. We are looking for a co-op to work with our Finance team supporting Global Professional Services division.
The Professional Services division supports our customers with the digital foundation they need to provide a person-centric experience at lower cost, higher quality, and higher service levels. The co-op will also provide support across the Finance team and learn about our different divisions and product lines.

Our goal is to have our co-ops leave with practical and applicable experience to build out their professional portfolio, meet some great connections, and have some fun along the way!

About Center of Excellence:

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.

Your Impact:

  • Month-end reporting for the Global Professional Services division
  • Creation of standard reporting templates and analysis for the Global Professional
  • Services division
  • Process improvement projects
  • Forecast model updates
  • Metrics preparation
  • Assist in the close and re-forecast process
  • Build out graphical representation of financial & operational data
  • Support ad-hoc requests that come from the rest of the team

What You Bring:

  • Quantitative skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Open minded
  • Detail oriented
  • Works with a sense of urgency
  • Familiar with GAAP Accounting

  • Understanding of financial rules governing software revenue recognition

Geographic Responsibility: HealthEdge is located in Burlington, MA and this will be a hybrid role (1-2 days a week)
