Job Title: Software Developer WLAN Networking 802.11Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite) Job Description Software Development Engineer - WLAN Networking 802.11 Work with the Software Engineering Connectivity team to understand the requirements to integrate xWAP and supported features.
Work closely with Product Owner and Technical Business Analyst to refine epics and user stories for xWAP integration. Participate in the sprint planning to review the defined scope of each sprint. Work closely with Client architecture and systems engineering teams to fully understand the requirements and architecture of Client IFEC system and how WAP is used and utilized.
Design, implement, integrate, and verify WAP software to control and configure the xWAP using interfaces available from the vendor ICD. o REST SSH SNMP Develop and automated unit test in compliance with Client methodologies using Catch 2.0 framework. Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines in compliance with Client methodologies supporting auto-ci jobs and static code analysis.
Document the design, development and testing considerations that were used and publish these on Client maintained Confluence spaces and pages. 5+ years of experience in software development using C/C++ (versions 14 or 17) Software Development Engineer o Must have requirements.
5+ years of experience in software development under Linux OS 3+ years of experience in software development using networking protocols such as TCP/UDP/IP/SNMP/DHCP/DNS/REST and VLANs 3+ years of experience in software development for Wireless LAN protocols including the advanced 802.11ac and 802.11ax protocols. Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies Strong written and verbal communications skills Experience in Avionics industry with IFEC product so Nice to have requirements.
