Customer Service Representative

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative. This role is in the logistics industry and involves interacting with customers and tracking delivery teams. The workplace environment is busy, with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track delivery teams throughout the day to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Handle customer inquiries effectively and professionally
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Update customers about their delivery status and reschedule deliveries if necessary
• Resolve any issues related to customer orders or deliveries
• Use specific software for data entry and record keeping (training provided)
• Handle incoming calls in a call center environment
• Work in collaboration with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
• Utilize dispatching experience to manage and coordinate logistics operations
• Use communication skills to connect with customers and provide excellent service.
• Possess strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Have experience in dispatching, coordinating and directing deliveries and pickups
• Ability to handle high volume calls and emails
• Proficient in using computer systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of logistics operations and procedures would be advantageous
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations and high-pressure scenarios calmly and effectively.
