Sr. Accountant

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The role will primarily involve assisting with the transition to a new financial system, NetSuite, and helping manage the associated workload.
The successful candidate will be a key member of our finance department, ensuring that our financial records are accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the transition to the NetSuite system
- Conduct account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis
- Prepare and post journal entries as required
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
- Ensure the completion of month-end close procedures efficiently
- Apply knowledge of Oracle and SAP in managing financial tasks
- Ensure all financial tasks and procedures comply with company policies and regulations
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations
- Knowledge of General Ledger operations
- Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Month End Close operations
- Knowledge of NetSuite software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
