Pay:
- Starting at $18.00, based on experience
Schedule:
- Part Time
- Monday - Friday
- 30 hours per week
- Alternating between 8:00am
- 2:30pm one week, and 11:30
- 6:00pm the next

Responsibilities:
- Abides by the company Always Behaviors each and every day as we serve our clients, colleagues, and community.
- Provides administrative clerical support to the nursing department in the facility. Answers phones, transfers calls, and accurately takes and distributes messages.
- Establishes, orders, and maintains adequate levels of medical supplies and linen needs of the facility. Monitors supply/linen budget amounts and ensures correct coding to budget accounts. Stocks medical supplies on the units and ensures medical records and supply storage areas are tidy and organized.
- Prepares charts for new admissions in healthcare and assisted living. Checks rooms for admissions. Ensures we are prepared and ready to receive our new admissions in a comfortable, orderly and timely fashion.
- Swiftly acclimates patient and family to facility and establishes positive relationship with excellent Customer Service.
- Schedules and leads wellness conferences and completes social service documentation.
- Completes all non-clinical admission paperwork including patient agreement, insurance forms (including supplemental or managed care), MSP, financial responsibility forms, bed hold agreement, etc.
- Meets with patients and/or family members to discuss insurance benefits and answer questions.
- Investigates missing items by completing incident report and maintaining log.
- Completes social service sections, CAAs as necessary, and care plans for each resident’s MDS.
- Reviews invoices from routine vendors to ensure accuracy and processes for payment in a timely manner.
- Tracks equipment rentals and returns in timely manner.
- Reviews daily kiosk supply charges are captured and posted correctly and efficiently.
- Educates staff on a regular basis to proper procedure for retrieving supplies.
- Accountable for facilitation collaborative IDT for continuous quality improvement.
- Assists, directs, and guides residents and their families to appropriate resources when personal or financial issues develop.
- Coordinates discharges to home or other facility.
- Assists in developing and implementing procedures to ensure medical records are properly assembled, coded, signed, indexed, etc., before filing and/or retrieving. Collects, assembles, checks, and files client charts as required.
- Collects and retrieves medical records for ADR’s and sends to requesting entity in a timely manner.
- All other duties as assigned and/or appropriate to the position.
- Qualifications:
Experience: At least one year experience working in long term care operations and or social services required.
Specialized knowledge, skills, or abilities:
- Computer literate and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products plus the willingness to learn other computer programs if required
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to navigate electronic health record in a satisfactory manner to be able to complete work in a timely fashion
- Ability to multitask in an environment of changing demands and frequent interruptions
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to stock medical supplies and equipment
- Incumbent should demonstrate:
- Strong customer service orientation
- Friendly, approachable, calm demeanor
- Must have a reliable vehicle to travel between facilities on a regular basis
