Overview:

Marksman Security Corporation is now seeking a Security Operations Manager!

The Security Operations Manager will oversee security personnel, ensuring the site is properly staffed and officers are trained and motivated. The Security Operations Manager will also work closely with the client contact to achieve goals and objectives set forth by Marksman Security and the association.

$55,000 - 65,000 p/yr

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in corrections, law enforcement, military security, account management

armed or unarmed guard/officer experience and or other related fields.

The primary role of this position is to enhance client experiences, build long term meaningful client relationships and engage with employees that deliver our services in the field. The individual will meet or exceed operational goals by providing high-quality, professional, competent and committed service and an outstanding client and employee experience with operational support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans for implementing direction and tone of security operations
  • Regularly engage with client to ensure service levels are aligning with expectations
  • Hire, develop, and retain appropriate security operations, account managers, and supervisors to accomplish the desired outcome of the operations
  • High level communication to the team and client to ensure satisfaction
  • Identify operational deficiencies and design strategic plans for remediation
  • Actively audit operations to ensure alignment with goals and vision
  • Coordinate day-to-day effects of the management team to ensure service quality and cost effectiveness
  • Work with team to ensure contractually scheduled hours are met with as little unbilled over-time as possible
  • Counsel and develop personnel to assist with advancement and promotability opportunities
  • Enforce Marksman Security policies as outlined in the handbook
  • Liaison between Marksman Security and the client
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Compile and retain reports for visibility of the operational overview
  • Performs security risk assessments to ensure operational effectiveness
  • Drafts action plans designed to remediate or enhance the security efforts
  • Creates and coordinates project tracking to ensure the team is aligned with delivery of desired outcome
  • Develop Quarterly Business Review reports for Marksman Executive Management and Client with action plans to address shortcomings.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving history (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of two years previous security supervision or leadership experience required
  • Flexible/ on- call schedule availability
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Attentive to detail
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
