Staff Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Oxford, Ohio. The Staff Accountant will be instrumental in managing and executing administrative functions, overseeing various accounts, and maintaining the general ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare annual and monthly financial reports, including check reconciliations, income statements, balance sheets, asset management, depreciation schedules, and year-end auditing reporting.
• Maintain monthly accounting records of all agreements.
• Assist in preparing all budgets, budget documents, and other financial reporting needs.
• Collaborate with auditors and other providers to prepare annual audits, tax requirement documentation, and reporting.
• Oversee the renewal of general insurance policies.
• Manage the purchase and inventory of office and chapter supplies, as well as equipment maintenance contracts.
• Act as a liaison to vendors, resolving issues as needed.
• Coordinate chapter and member fee invoicing.
• Assist with the maintenance of the office building and its grounds, including obtaining bids for maintenance, repair, and improvement needs.
• Contribute to data entry and database maintenance.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Expertise in maintaining and updating the General Ledger
• Skills in preparing and recording Journal Entries
• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
• Experience with NetSuite software for accounting tasks
• Knowledge of Oracle financial software
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for bookkeeping and accounting
• Experience with SAP financial software and its applications in accounting.
