About the job

The SAS Emerging Career team is a highly engaged and enthusiastic team focused on building the future workforce at SAS. We are seeking a Talent Pathways Program Manager, Emerging Careers to develop, orchestrate, and monitor the success of talent pathway programs including entry-level programs, alternative pathway programs, and our internal gig platform, Project Marketplace.

As a Talent Pathways Program Manager, Emerging Careers you will:

  • Build and implement strategies for global emerging career talent programs, including assessing new opportunities, establishing program standards, and creating program communication best practices.
  • Drive consistency in program strategies by leveraging and enhancing program standards across various global programs that currently exist in marketing, technical support, R&D, and other organizations. Ensure alignment of programs, avoiding duplication of efforts across divisions and driving repeatability.
  • Collaborate with SAS HR and various divisions to secure support, commitment, and resources for executing emerging career talent programs. Partner cross-functionally to obtain input and buy-in on talent strategy recommendations.
  • Define the talent strategy for project marketplaces to positively impact employee career development and engagement while maximizing business value.
  • Serve as the SAS HR liaison for emerging talent initiatives within cross-functional projects as well as within external benchmarking and talent forums.
  • Develop and track metrics to monitor, analyze, and improve program success. Seek out new ways to enhance programs and their value to the business.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders, including business leadership, HR leadership, program sponsors, and external third parties, to ensure awareness and information sharing of key program details and opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of innovative talent programs and industry trends through external networks and participation in professional organizations; maintain company knowledge of programs and practices via internal networks.
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in human resources, including talent acquisition, human resource business partnering, and/or talent development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Willingness to flex beyond day-to-day responsibilities and work outside of normal business hours for global calls as needed.
  • An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Preferred qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, with a proven track record of successfully developing, overseeing and executing HR and/or talent programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create detailed reports and impactful presentations.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and/or initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and driving strategic talent initiatives.
  • Passionate for supporting talent in their career journey

  • Experience using an online applicant tracking system, iCIMS preferred.
  • Willingness to attend events in the evenings and travel up to 10% as required.
