Overview:

Marksman Security Corporation is now seeking a Operations Manager!

The operations manager will oversee security personnel, ensuring the site is properly staffed and officers are trained and motivated. The operations manager will also work closely with the client contact to achieve goals and objectives set forth by Marksman Security and the association.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in corrections, law enforcement, military security, account management

armed or unarmed guard/officer experience and or other related fields.

Qualifications:

Job Summary: The Contract Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all security operations within an assigned contract, ensuring compliance with client expectations, company policies, and industry standards. This role involves managing personnel, optimizing operational efficiency, maintaining client relationships, and enforcing security protocols to safeguard assets, personnel, and property.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily security operations and ensure contract compliance.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and emergency response
plans.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain security post orders and ensure staff adherence.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.

Personnel Management:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop security personnel.
  • Supervise security officers, shift supervisors, and site leads.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for improvement.
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and workforce optimization.
  • Address disciplinary actions and resolve personnel conflicts.

Client Relations & Service Delivery:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and provide reports on security operations.
  • Address client concerns promptly and implement solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance security services and value.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and industry regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate security incidents and provide reports with recommended improvements.
  • Manage compliance with local, state, and federal security regulations.

Financial & Administrative Management:

  • Monitor contract financials, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Ensure all invoices and billing are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including incident reports, training records,

and compliance documents.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in security management, law enforcement, or
military leadership.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business management, or a
related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications: Security-related certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, or state security (license) are a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in security technology, incident reporting, and workforce
management software.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.

Working Conditions:

  • On-site management at client facilities with potential on-call responsibilities.
  • Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on contract
requirements.
  • Travel may be required within assigned regions.
