Temporary Legal Assistant
- Assist attorneys with drafting and filing legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
- Prepare and complete interrogatories and discovery documents.
- Manage attorney calendars, scheduling hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
- Maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, court personnel, and legal teams.
- Perform e-filing for federal and state courts.
- Conduct research and compile case-related information.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, with expertise in federal and personal injury law.
- strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in legal software and e-filing systems.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence.
- Interrogatories: Complete and manage discovery documents, including interrogatories and requests for production.
- Calendar Management: Schedule court hearings, depositions, client meetings, and manage attorney deadlines.
- E-Filing: Handle electronic filing for federal and state courts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements.
- Case Management: Maintain and organize case files, tracking key details and deadlines.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Attorney Support:Assist attorneys with day-to-day administrative tasks and case preparation.
- Administrative Duties: Answer phones, manage correspondence, and coordinate schedules.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update client and case information in legal software systems.
