Responsibilities:
The Payroll Supervisor will support the Corporate Payroll Director in the efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations. The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for the processing and reconciliation of the 401k including any outside audits in that area.The Payroll Supervisor will effectively interact with Human Resources staff, facilities payroll staff, managers & hospital staff regarding payroll issues. The Payroll Supervisor will help in acquisitions as needed. The Supervisor will need to help update dictionaries in the various accounting and timekeeping systems.
The Supervisor will help in facility audits and also sending out communication to all facility payroll staff.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Payroll is required
- Previous hospital payroll experience a must.
- General accounting background.
- Hands-on experience with Excel or equivalent.
- Experience with JBDev/Kronos or similar timekeeping system.
- Some knowledge of ADP and Kronos preferred.
- Knowledge of Wage and Hour Guidelines and Healthcare pay practices.
- Knowledge of payroll dictionary set up.
- Hands on experience with payroll taxes.
Preferred qualifications:
- College Degree preferred.
- Multi-state knowledge of payroll laws preferred.
- Some knowledge of ADP and Kronos preferred.
- Experience with union collective bargaining agreements and protocols preferred.
- Hands on experience with audits for 401k, DOL, W/C preferred
Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $68,640.00 to $99,403.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
