The Logistics Lead will oversee and optimize the end-to-end logistics processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers. This role involves managing inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and maintaining a focus on operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description- Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory control, and transportation of goods.
- Ensure efficient movement of goods from production facilities to distribution centers and customers.
- Develop and manage KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with production, procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business goals.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure service reliability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, implement inventory management best practices, and ensure timely restocking of products.
- Collaborate with demand planners to ensure logistics capabilities align with demand forecasts.
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs without compromising quality and delivery timelines.
- Implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with food safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment for warehouse and transportation teams.
- Generate regular reports on logistics performance, including on-time delivery, cost savings, and inventory metrics.
- Use data analytics to drive decisions and improve logistics strategies.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality compliance regulations is a plus.
