The administrative assitant take on an essential role in performing the nescessary support functions of the division

Responsibilities:

The Administrative Assistant takes on an essential role in performing the necessary support functions of the division. This Position provides important and on-going assistance to the Vice President, including extensive typing responsibilities for numerous and often time sensitive documents, statistical and other reports, and memos/letters.
Telephone answering skills, scheduling meetings, and diplomatically interacting with staff at all levels of the organization, in addition to those external to BronxCare (e.g. government agencies, vendors, etc.) are required. Ability to respond to high pressure situations is essential.

Proven computer and secretarial skills, including Microsoft Office and Social Media are also needed.

Qualifications:

  • Four or more (4+) years of office or related experience including two (2) years at advanced clerical level.
  • Associate degree required, Bachelor’s preferred
  • Extensive Computer Knowledge
  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel
