Title: Accounting Manager (SMA/JV/Partnerships)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 3 days in office)
Salary: $135-$160k + Bonus + Unlimited PTO
About the Company: This multi-faceted real estate investment organization, manages assets valued at more than $10+ billion. The firm operates across the US from various offices in major cities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various duties to support the monthly, quarterly and annual close process.
- Manage daily/weekly cash analysis at the investment vehicle level and respond to relevant queries.
- Lead the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accurate financial statement preparation.
- Oversee the preparation of various financial reports including monthly flash reports and ad hoc reports for investors.
- Coordinate annual audits, prepare financial packages for auditors and tax accountants; be the point of contact for their inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with minimum of 5 years working experience, preferably in real estate, private equity, or financial services.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with preference for those with MRI and Juniper Square experiences.
- Solid understanding of partnership/fund accounting concepts and legal agreements (LP Agreements, LLC Agreements, Loan Agreements).
- Strong decision-making, organizational skills, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
