We are seeking a dedicated and passionate cook to join our team! In this role, you will follow established recipes and cooking guidelines provided by the onsite Food and Beverage leadership. Your main responsibility will be to produce correctly plated menu items within the established time frames.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (May include some or all of the following as applicable)
  • Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes
  • Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen
  • Work with food and beverage team members to maintain rigid cleaning and organization stardards.
  • Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant. Design new menu choices based on seasonal ingredients and customer demand

Qualifications:

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:

Continuing education will be offered and administered as needed.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

  • 6 months to 1 year culinary cooking experience in full-service restaurant
  • Knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff and implementing kitchen procedures
  • Ability to follow direction and repeat working actions consistently.
  • Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Language requirements:

None.

Travel and availability requirements:

May be required to travel for training sessions off-site on an ad-hoc basis.

Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirement. Ability to respond to emergencies and callouts in a timely manner.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.; work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time, may fluctuate. May handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages. Reach with hands and arms, communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information.

Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions; complete all required forms.

Working Conditions:
