Registered Nurse - ICU - Pleasanton

Compensation: $75 - $90 hourly

Duties and Responsibilities-Constantly assessing and monitoring patients' vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, etc.) and responding to any critical changes.-Ensuring the accurate and timely administration of medications, including IV drips, injections, and other treatments, while managing complex medication regimens.-Managing and troubleshooting ventilators, dialysis machines, and other life-support systems to stabilize critically ill patients.-Conducting thorough patient assessments, documenting patient status, care plans, and any changes in condition, while maintaining accurate records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.-Working closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans, communicate critical updates, and coordinate treatments.-Responding to life-threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrests, respiratory failure, or sudden deterioration, providing CPR, intubation, or other critical interventions.-Communicating with patients and their families to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-ICU care, offering emotional support during a highly stressful time.?-

Assisting with or performing procedures like wound care, inserting central lines, arterial lines, or managing catheters and drains.?
