Nurse Manager

Job Description:

May be responsible for medication control and coordination with physicians to ensure care and medications are delivered as directed. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.

Pay range: $80-85k/yr

MUST POSSES ACTIVE NURSE LICENSE

• Responsible for monitoring and evaluating assigned residents and regularly assess levels of care,

• Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find appropriate associate to assist
• Responsible for effectively supervising departmental operations as directed on a day-to-day basis

• Responds in a tactful and timely manner to all residents, family members and/or staff
• May be responsible for supervising resident medication programs
• May be asked to monitor all physician orders and ensures they have been followed timely and

• Responsible for assisting with scheduling for Care associates
• Performs other related duties as required

• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• High school graduate required; college course work preferred
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required
• One to three years’ experience working in senior care

• Must have appropriate State license required by law
• CPR Certified preferred
• Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
