DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for a talented Quality Technician - Level II to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Florence, KY.

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**

+ **Supporting the Receiving Department** : By assisting receiving with production-related and inspection tasks, you help ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.

+ **Quality Control** : Monitoring material quality and making necessary adjustments helps maintain the integrity and standards of the production process.

+ **Documentation** : Maintaining and supporting documentation and records ensures that all processes are well-documented and traceable, which is crucial for quality assurance and audits.

+ **Defect Identification** : Comparing physical characteristics of components and products to technical specifications helps identify defects early, preventing potential issues down the line.

+ **Testing and Reporting** : Conducting simple tests and preparing technical reports provides valuable data that informs decision-making and product improvements.

+ **Customer Assistance** : Assisting customers in understanding product specifications and measurement data helps them make informed decisions and fosters trust in the company’s products.

+ **Measurement Studies** : Participating in measurement uncertainty studies contributes to the accuracy and reliability of measurement and calibration results.

+ **Equipment Maintenance** : Ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of measurement and test equipment keeps the tools in optimal condition, supporting consistent and accurate testing results.

**Education/Experience**

+ High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

+ Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
