Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) - Consultant

PART-TIME, HYBRID, CONSULTANT

SilverEdge is a premier provider of innovative cyber, software and intelligence solutions addressing everyday challenges to meet mission goals across the DOD and Intel Communities and beyond. We are seeking a candidate to provide CSSO support to our corporate staff.

• Conducts security prescreen communications with candidates and sponsorship personnel
• Works with prime ‘s security POCs on a variety of issues (badges items, crossovers, sponsorship, security violations or incidents)
• Attends customer specific security conferences
• Manages/maintains employee & contingent hire security records
• Establish and maintain access to secure room and safes as well as logs for storage items
• Submits or coordinates badge renewals and handles expired badge issues
• Provides security matrix and security plans for proposals
• Coordinates with Gov Sec during SCIF buildout phase and beyond
• Advises Operations on various security related items

Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI w/poly with VA customer
• Have recent, relevant experience supporting the VA customer.
• Expert knowledge of ICD series manuals
• 5 + years of industrial security or relevant experience

Qualifications:

• CDSE certifications
• SCIF buildout experience
