Our client, a prominent manufacturing company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join their growing team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless procurement of materials and maintaining efficient supply chain operations to support the company's production goals. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management: Source, evaluate, and purchase materials, components, and equipment needed for manufacturing processes.
• Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
• Cost Control: Analyze purchasing trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure competitive pricing without compromising quality.
• Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with inventory control teams to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize production downtime due to supply shortages.
• Order Processing: Place purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that all purchased materials meet required specifications and standards.
• Forecasting & Planning: Assist in demand forecasting and production planning to ensure that supply aligns with manufacturing schedules.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
