Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing advanced technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of applications for our diverse range of clients.

You will work closely with our development and IT teams as well as vendors, clients, and end users to resolve issues, implement improvements, and enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Advanced Technical Support:
o Offer expert-level support for application issues, diagnosing and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner.
o Manage and troubleshoot application errors and system malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
  • Application Monitoring and Maintenance:
o Monitor application performance and system health to detect and address issues proactively.
o Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure applications are running optimally and securely.
  • User Assistance and Training:
o Assist end-users by providing guidance and training on application usage and best practices.
o Develop and maintain user documentation and support materials.
  • Incident and Problem Management:
o Handle escalated support requests and manage complex incidents through to resolution.
o Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to resolve application-related issues.
o Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, MSPs, and end users to understand their needs and provide tailored support solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for application enhancements and work with the development team to implement changes.

o Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
