How you make a difference:

Be a Guiding Presence as a Support Person!

As a Support Person, you’ll be the front line of support for individuals served who need extra care and attention. By offering therapeutic activities and recreation, you'll help foster a positive, engaging environment that promotes healing and personal growth.

You’ll work alongside the treatment team, ensuring a safe and therapeutic living unit where individuals feel valued and supported. If you're someone who thrives in a dynamic, impactful role and is dedicated to making a difference in others’ lives, this position is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists Clinical Leaders

• Promotes Therapeutic Milieu

• Engages in Non-Clinical Interactions

• Supports Behavioral Observations

• Documents and Reports Activities

Records interactions, behaviors, and unit activities, preparing necessary reports and logs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or criminal justice field.

Experience:

• Preferred: Direct care experience in a healthcare or mental health treatment facility.
• Preferred: Healthcare, mental health, or human services experience.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Preferred: Healthcare, mental health, or human services license or certification (Peer Support Specialist Certification, CNA, BHT, etc.).
