Part Time Bookkeeper

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Bookkeeper. The role is based in Stoughton, Massachusetts, and will involve tasks relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry and bookkeeping.

• Enter invoices accurately into QuickBooks
• Apply payments to appropriate accounts
• Create and post journal entries in a timely manner
• Generate financial statements on a regular basis
• Responsible for account reconciliation and bank reconciliations
• Handle bookkeeping tasks as required
• May handle tasks related to inventory accounting
• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
• Demonstrable proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Proven experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Solid understanding and experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations successfully
• Extensive experience in Bookkeeping
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in using QuickBooks for financial tasks
• Must possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
