Motion Graphics Designer

Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC!

We are seeking a talented Motion Graphics Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and visual storytelling. This role involves creating compelling motion graphics and animations for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, video content, and advertising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce high-quality motion graphics for video productions, promotional materials, and digital media.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute visually engaging content that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Develop storyboards and design assets to visualize animation concepts before production.
• Animate 2D/3D graphics using software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, or similar tools.
• Ensure all animations and designs are optimized for various platforms, including mobile and desktop.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in motion design, animation, and video production to bring fresh ideas to projects.
• Work within project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
• Collaborate with copywriters, graphic designers, and videographers to ensure cohesive and impactful storytelling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing animation and design work.
• Proficiency in design and animation software, including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4D (or similar).
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and storytelling.
• Experience with 3D modeling and animation is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
