There are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. The Director is a servant-leader with 30 years of UF Health Leesburg experience and is dedicated to the success of her team and the people of her community. This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated.The benefit about working here is that you will truly learn and acquire valuable experience, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff.

The Cardiovascular Tech, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant.This is a Part-Time, two 12-hour shifts per week position.
Qualifications:
Education:- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
- Either of the following is required in lieu of the required education:
- FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification OR
- FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Preferred)
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Preferred)
- BLS
- ACLS
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
