Administrative Assistant
We are actively seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our client’s corporate legal and compliance department. This part-time, temporary position offers a fantastic opportunity for candidates with legal experience to make an immediate impact within a corporate setting.
Schedule: 24-29 hours per weekPay Rate: Compensation will align with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Duration: Through May, with potential to evolve.
Location: While this role is primarily onsite given the nature of work and part-time, there may be occasional flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Documentation: Prepare and draft general correspondence and forms for review and approval by Legal department professionals.
- Budget Management: Assist with budgeting tasks for the legal and compliance departments, including budget entry and reconciliation.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the General Counsel, including calendar management, travel arrangements, department supply management, and invoice processing.
- Legal Compliance: Maintain essential licenses and authorities for brokerage operations and assist with tasks related to legal compliance requirements.
- Mail and Communication Handling: Open and scan mail, manage correspondence as directed, and support ongoing communication needs of the Legal and Compliance teams.
- Confidentiality: Exercise the highest level of discretion and professionalism, working independently on sensitive matters.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience as a legal assistant within a law firm or corporate legal department is required. This role requires the ability to start with minimal training and adapt quickly to the department’s needs.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with high attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
