Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and data driven Document Control Specialist to join our team! You will be a key memeber of the projec execution team responsible for ensuring project document control standards are met and upheld for our Woburn, Massachusetts and Whippany, New Jersey facilities.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop & maintain the master list of all company-controlled documentation.
  • Ensures system for controlling documents & data is maintained within the Quality Management System. Maintain digital and paper-based documentation.
  • Audit department documentation, to include QMS requirements & their current practices for accuracy.
  • Responsible for helping to maintain the quality management system and continually improving its effectiveness.
  • Responsible for following all relative quality management systems (AS9100D/ISO9001), and our customer’s quality requirements.
  • Responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction by meeting our customer requirements.
  • Maintains and further develop ECR/ECN/DCR process.
  • Maintains and further develop Deviation/Waiver process.
  • Assist with Part number and Bill of Material creation/maintenance.
  • Contribute to Process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

HOW TO SUCCEED

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school Diploma/GED
  • 3+ years of relevant experience and/or training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, Word, and knowledge of PDF markup tools; must have strong working knowing of Excel and database management.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within document control and/or Configuration Management and AS9100 Quality System environments.
  • Familiar with security of documentation or understanding of information security guidelines.
  • Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of the team, particularly across virtual environments
  • Ability to maintain sensitive information as required by government standards

Salary Range: Document Contro Specialist III: $78,048 - $117,072 Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
