CNA II - Emergency Room - CNAER 24-18129

Pay Rate: $28/Hourly

Role Highlights:

• Helping with initial assessments, collecting vital signs, and gathering medical history.
• Measuring blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen levels, and pain assessments frequently.
• Providing support during suturing, wound care, catheter insertion, and other bedside procedures.
• Setting up and monitoring oxygen equipment under RN supervision.
• Assisting with oral and tracheal suctioning to clear airways.
• Assisting during CPR, Code Blue situations, and transporting patients for tests or higher levels of care.
• Performing fingerstick glucose tests and reporting results to nurses.
• Monitoring IV sites for complications and assisting in inserting or removing urinary catheters.
• Assisting in moving patients from stretchers to beds and supporting fall prevention strategies.
• Recording patient care activities in medical charts and alerting RNs to any changes in condition.

Qualifications:

• Current CNA II License
• AHA BLS

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma
