Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (General) - Leading community development organization providing a wide range of service toward positively impacting families and communities in Washington, D.C. is seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist to work 16-30 hours per week in the outpatient clinic (Flexible with Scheduling)
Center administers services via the latest and most effective family and community building tools in the field of social and community development. The services work to develop and sustain healthy families and communities.
Services provided include: Individual Counseling, Family Counseling and Training, Community Support, Crisis Intervention, Diagnostic Assessments, Psychological Evaluation, Behavioral Aid, Community Transition, Medication Management and Resource Coordination
Patient base ranges from ADHD, Depression, General Psychological Issues and Addiction Medicine Treatment.
The Psychiatrist performs psychiatric evaluations, supervision and administration of mental health related medication; monitoring and interpreting results of laboratory diagnostic procedures related to mental health related medication; and medical interventions needed for effective treatment provided as either an individual or group intervention.
