Office Assistant

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in Haslett, Michigan. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to our team by performing various administrative tasks and customer service duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leasing Support: Answer incoming calls, assist prospective tenants with inquiries, schedule and conduct apartment tours, and help facilitate the leasing process.
• Customer Service: Address tenant questions, concerns, and maintenance issues in a professional and timely manner. Coordinate with the team to manage work orders and resolve problems.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and document preparation. Manage email correspondence and maintain tenant records.
• Front Desk Support: Greet visitors, answer phones, and ensure a welcoming and organized front office environment.
• Property Management Tasks: Collaborate with the office team to monitor and address property needs. Maintain a clear and updated overview of work orders and tenant communications.
• Sales Assistance: Leverage sales experience to promote available units and upsell features that match tenant needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous administrative, office assistant, leasing agent, or property management experience is strongly preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with tenants, prospective clients, and vendors.
• Ability to problem-solve and provide exceptional customer service.
• Sales experience is a plus.
