Generator Technician

Our power generation client is looking for a Generator Technician to join the team in the Johnson City, TN area. Candidates may reside in or around Johnson City, TN, Kingsport, TN or surrounding areas. This will be a remote role, you will dispatch from your home to perform maintenance and repairs on commercial generator sets and electrical equipment. Other responsibilities Include:
- Preventative maintenance services
- Troubleshooting of Automatic Transfer Switches , AC, AD circuits, diesel/gas engines, injection systems, ignition components and more
- Following manufactures warranty guidelines
- Perform start ups on new generator systems
- Change oil and filters
- Ensure units are in proper operating conditions and follow code requirements
- Work in teams with other technicians
