Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in the Legal industry, located in Washington, District of Columbia, United States. As an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing the operations of our accounting functions, processing pertinent data, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our software systems.

• Supervise the accounts payable operations and ensure the accuracy of account coding.
• Oversee the processing of data and ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
• Monitor the use of accounting software systems to ensure they are being used effectively and efficiently.
• Liaise with ADP - Financial Services to manage financial transactions and records.
• Utilize Concur software for expense management and report generation.
• Perform regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Manage the Automated Clearing House (ACH) process for electronic transactions.
• Ensure adherence to accrual accounting principles and procedures.
• Handle accounting functions including the management of accounts payable.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues within the accounts payable operations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager role or similar.
• Proficiency in account coding.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting software systems.
• Familiarity with Chrome River
• Experience with Concur software.
• Ability to effectively manage data processing tasks.
• Comprehensive understanding of general accounting functions.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.
• Knowledge of accrual accounting practices.
• Experience in auditing is required.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes.
