Maintenance Technician

Our client in Irwin is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join the team.

Position will be on 1st shift

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to pneumatic systems, including compressors, valves, and actuators.
• Fabricate and weld parts using various materials and tools to repair or replace damaged components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, starters, control systems, and wiring.
• Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment status.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve issues and improve equipment performance.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly, minimizing downtime and production interruptions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and upgrades.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance, suggesting improvements or upgrades where necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
