As a Care Coordinator at Helping Hands Family, you will compassionately guide families through the steps to receive ABA services, ensuring they get the support they need.Are you ready to help families navigate their journey? Key Responsibilities:
- Educate prospective clients on the services offered by Helping Hands Family.
- Communicate with clients during the admissions process regarding status, timelines, and additional information needed.
- Assist families in obtaining necessary paperwork for the intake process, including communication with diagnosing physicians.
- Gather and verify insurance information to determine covered services.
- Manage insurance case management, including obtaining authorizations and maintaining relationships with care coordinators.
- Maintain data integrity in practice management and electronic medical records systems, including data entry and auditing.
- Manage intake for potential new clients, medical records, data entry, and processing for new markets until a Program Support Specialist is onboarded.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- 1 year of healthcare customer service experience
- Previous experience in a related field
- Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism or other disabilities
