Warehouse Distribution Manager

About Our Client

The Warehouse Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, and timely delivery of products to customers. This role involves optimizing warehouse processes, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, managing staff, and working closely with various departments to meet company goals and customer satisfaction.

• Oversee daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction by anticipating needs, maintaining strong relationships, and addressing concerns.
• Manage the introduction and launch of new programs within the plant.
• Lead and set objectives for the logistics team, ensuring alignment with plant goals.
• Develop, implement, and maintain materials management policies and procedures, including adherence to QS9000 standards and supervision of quarterly physical inventory.
• Oversee staffing, training, and professional development to enhance team performance and growth.
• Monitor and optimize logistics processes.
• Prepare and present the Sales and Operations Plan to the Plant Management.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure the effectiveness of the Master Scheduling Plan (PDP).
• Enhance supplier and logistics partner performance and maintain strong relationships.
• Manage the phase-out of model years and handle the resulting obsolescence claims.
• Investigate and resolve material shortages and related issues.
• Supervise shipping, receiving, and storage of parts and finished goods within the plant.
• Monitor logistics performance, manage the budget, and ensure accurate reporting of logistics metrics (e.g., FES indicators). Raise alerts in AMS as needed.
• Coordinate logistics improvement actions with other plant functions (Quality, Production, System Efficiency) and lead related projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Manage Engineering Change Coordination.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience within SAP is a must have
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse and distribution management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and other relevant technologies.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Ability to manage budgets and perform cost analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.

What's on Offer

Target compensation for the Warehouse Distribution Manager is $125,000 - $145,000 base salary + 10% bonus.
